Photo "In its natural habitat" is clearly in a terrarium

[edit]

The photo on this page notes that the Planigale is "in its natural habitat". But you can see the shadow of its tail, bent by the glass of a terrarium.

Can we find a better photo? Richlitt (talk) 23:43, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Claiming Planigale petrophila as a new species.©Geni (talk) 04:39, 26 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Cool. Once there's some acceptance of the species, we can add it here. Typically, that means an update to the ASM's MDD. - UtherSRG (talk) 13:54, 26 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I added it already, we can revert if necessary Enlil Ninlil (talk) 10:09, 27 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I've reverted. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:10, 27 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
ASM's MDD gets updated a few times a year. Let's see if they have the changes to Planigale in the next update. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:13, 27 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Mate I am not going to wait till some random website puts info on. You need to do better than that. Enlil Ninlil (talk) 19:59, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
ASM's MDD is the taxonomy we attempt to align to for all of our mammal taxonomy articles. - UtherSRG (talk) 21:53, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
