Side effects update

[edit]

There seems to be a current study (published or prepublished late November/early December 2007) that gives more detail on adverse effects and seems to conclude they're more serious than believed. Maybe it will pop up on the NSAID article first. I don't have any details except that some German health insurances are as of 2007-11-30 warning patient not to take Piroxicam if alternatives exist. Are the flags necessary?

[edit]

The flags next to each country are kind of a nice touch I guess, but are they really needed? This format is not really used in most articles unless the flag is next to the title of a list of countries in a table format. It's not earth shatteringly distracting or anything, but perhaps slightly unnecessary. Simplistic Linguist (talk) 15:25, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wrong Structure

[edit]

The structure shown does not comply with the IUPAC name. The upper OH and =O should be interchanged.190.196.59.35 (talk) 16:20, 23 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

add 2023 study on increased effectiveness of Plan B?

[edit]

This study showing increased effectiveness of oral emergency contraceptive when taken in combination with piroxicam was widely reported and seems worth noting here: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(23)01240-0/abstract 2601:445:801:8520:14B4:B9BC:382F:7FE7 (talk) 01:55, 7 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
