Not Pinot (in France).
[edit]Dear All, Should we discuss the elephant in this room, being that in France, the grape is called 'Meunier' not 'Pinot Meunier' ..? As per https://maverisk.nl/wp-content/uploads/Liste-BOagri-mars-2025-Classement-des-varietes-de-vigne_5.pdf -- and I found the Cahier des Charges for Champagne, also not mentioning 'Pinot Meunier' anywhere (as per https://maverisk.nl/wp-content/uploads/CDC_Champagne_.pdf). Though many champagne labels still carry the Pinot addition. Would be a grace period, I guess. Yeah, it's nitpicking, but given that the page is about this very grape, I'd say (legal) precision may be worth pursuing.
