This article needs a definitive reference for the fact that the design was never actually built. I've stated this in the article on the basis that absence of evidence is evidence of absence, and that none of the references I have to hand that list Piel's designs that actually flew say anything about the CP.500 taking to the air. Indeed, the design is dropped from the pages of JAWA by the mid 1980s. I would expect to find such a statement in the pages of Xavier Massé's book, Les Avions Piel.
