Move to Human Resources Directorate?

[edit]

I think the article should be moved, considering there are no other Human Resources Directorates with an article (are there any other HRDs at all??) -- Ynhockey (Talk) 18:03, 24 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

After being renamed from Manpower Directorate to Human Resource Directorate, the insignia was also changed. The new version can be seen here: http://www1.idf.il/DOVER/site/mainpage.asp?clr=1&sl=HE&id=7&docid=51855 --83.130.90.42 18:49, 4 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Translation of unit names

[edit]

Sector > should be "Department"

Planning Brigade and Manpower Administration > Doesn't "Manpower Planning and Administration Brigade" work better?

-- Jacoby308 (talk) 16:52, 25 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

They're two different entities: Planning Brigade (חטיבת התכנון), and Manpower Administration (מנהל כוח אדם). However, they were merged and are a single unit now (division-level). —Ynhockey (Talk) 16:19, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
The unit's name is "חטיבת תכנון ומנהל כח אדם" - abbreviated "חתומכ"א". I've served in the unit for the past 6 years, and I'm not aware of any major changes that fit your description (at least for the past 20 years). Are you not referring to Meitav - which was created from the combined Bakum (בקו"ם) and Manhag (מנה"ג) ca. 2009? this might also be a good place to point out the need for a page for the brigade —Jacoby308 (talk) 23:17, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
