Membranous vs. Bony Labryrinth

[edit]

I think this article would benefit from with a brief discussion of Membranous vs. Bony Labryinth. The membranous labyrinth contains endolymph; the membranous labyrinth in contained within the bony labyrinth. Between the outer wall of the membranous labyrinth and the wall of the bony labyrinth lies the perilymph. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gmreed2 (talkcontribs) 19:38, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Noting Significance in Balance

[edit]

I came here from Grenades, wherein it was noted that stun grenades affect sight, hearing, & balance, hearing and balance due to disturbance of the "fluid in the ears", which redirected here. However, I cannot find a note of Perilymph assisting in balance on this page. I am no expert by any means, so if someone who does know more about this topic would please check for that, and maybe add the information if it really does apply, I think it would fit well on the page.
