[edit]I will delete part about accent in Polish being always on penult, because it's false. (I am native speaker) Compare with: pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akcent_wyrazowy It's a short article on accent on Polish wikipedia, it has part talking about accent in Polish language. Feel free to click "Przykłady w językach" and look at "Język polski" part. Underscored syllables are accented: some words are accented on second from the end syllable, some on 3rd from the end and some on 4th from the end.
Perhaps the deleted text could be altered into something like: "In certain languages, such as Polish and Welsh, stress is almost always <or: often> on the penult." Because truly, it's often the case in Polish (I don't know about Welsh). 149.156.72.194 (talk) 15:14, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
