née Craven; born Margaret Hirsdansky

Surely this should be rephrased. ("Née" means "born" in French.) Not sure how. Kostaki mou (talk) 15:36, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I figured out how (I think)! Kostaki mou (talk) 15:42, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Norman or Peggy?

[edit]

In October 2013, an IP user made an edit that added the first name "Norman" to a paragraph of the article, such that it read: Norman Lloyd became a close associate of director Alfred Hitchcock and directed many of Hitchock's television specials and series episodes. I have just removed that entire sentence, because this article is about Peggy, not Norman. Her husband's accomplishments belong in his article, not hers. However, the source (Peggy Lloyd's obituary) is somewhat ambiguous, as it gives this information without specifying a first name. The information had been in the article since its creation in 2011, but referring to Peggy Lloyd, not her husband. If it can be independently verified that this did in fact refer to Peggy then I'd support to add it back. Renerpho (talk) 03:51, 8 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
