Since I'm not too sure about how to cite sources and find proper academic information, I'd like to ask someone to add some information concerning the town of Newton-Stewart. The town was within the area that was to be flooded by the lake, almost all of it is underwater now, although there are some dirt trails (formerly gravel roads) that used to run through the town that now run into the lake.
