Explanation of output

[edit]

I'd like to request an explanation of the output of this command. I don't really understand how packets can be lost both at nodes and over links. Also, is it so common for 100% of packets to be lost??203.37.151.11 05:09, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I too would like to see more information on the pathping results. I assume the 100% loss is due to a firewall being in place. Zanato (talk) 21:17, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please add a discussion regarding "Loose source route along host-list."

also RSVP and Layer-2 priority tags.

What re they and why would you want to used them.

Any other command to find packet loss

[edit]

The scanario is like total ICMP is blocked in site to site vpn connection becouse of security (3des) encription, so whats next step to identify any packet loss in this situation —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.164.100.80 (talk) 19:29, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
