Pappus vs. pappi
[edit]I want to make sure I understand. Is the pappus the group of little hairs on one seed, or is a pappus one of the hairs that makes up the group of hairs on one seed, and the group of hairs on one seed would then be called the pappi? Is the article discussing pappus as a plural of hairs or a singular group of hairs? Eewilson (talk) 00:07, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
