This page should likely be split into multiple pages and turned into a disambiguation. Numerous non-homologous elements across numerous taxa are referred to as the "palpebral"; pending better characterisation and terminology of the different elements, I would recommend at least "Palpebral bone (Pseudosuchia)", "Palpebral bone (Ornithischia)", "Supraorbital bones (Ornithischia)", "Supraorbital bone (Actinopterygii)", and "Parafrontal". Unfortunately the homology of many of these, as well as the elements in pterosaurs, pliosaurs, pythons, birds, and other autarchoglossans seems to be unknown, and splitting the page seems like a nightmare.
