- Someone more competent should answer this because you referenced a policy on citations not the manual of style. The relevant guideline is MOS:NAME and most independent references in the article use 'Brian Bean' not 'brian bean'. 206.83.103.249 (talk) 05:05, 29 September 2025 (UTC)

- Then feel free to discuss the exact wording on the talk page of MOS:CAPS.
