The content of Platyosphys was merged into Pachycetus on 28 November 2022. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.

@Plantdrew this appears to be the senior synonym, so should Basilotritus and Platyosphys simply become redirects pointing here? YorkshireExpat (talk) 18:07, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@YorkshireExpat:, I think so. But a history merge may be needed. Pachycetus was a redirect until a couple days ago, and it seems that the content was copied from Platyosphys. Plantdrew (talk) 20:18, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

There isn't further content to merge. To indicate what seems to have gone on here, I've added a back-dated merged from template to assist with attribution. I think that that this should resolve this. Klbrain (talk) 09:12, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
