This sentence does not make sense at all..
[edit]This sentence does not make sense at all..
"He was survived by his both women," and I cannot figure it out from its context. This is probably a bad translation from a foreign language, and it is badly-broken English that doesn't make any sense at all! 98.67.167.69 (talk) 20:52, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- It likely meant to say that his mother and wife were alive after his death. Materialscientist (talk) 01:33, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Royal Society affiliation
[edit]It appears to me from looking at the Royal Society website that it was the elder Otto Struve who was a fellow, not the younger. https://makingscience.royalsociety.org/people/na6022/otto-wilhelm-struve

- It looks to me as if they both were. The reference you have found notes that Otto Wilhelm von Struve was elected a fellow in 1873. This is not in the article about him. The reference for Otto Struve in this article is to Biographical members of the Royal Society, and links to this full version, which says
Struve was elected Foreign Member of the Royal Society in 1954
. Friedrich Georg Wilhelm von Struve was also a member, according to this. Tacyarg (talk) 21:52, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
