The equation for the conversion from ammonia to nitric oxide should be: 4NH3 + 5O2 <===> 4NO + 6H2O

Not match with my book

The process here in Wikipedia of manufacturing Nitric oxide isnot match with my book Harrie Sani (talk) 03:32, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Overall reaction when carried out in the air

As a beginner in chemistry, I'm confused about one thing. If everything is divided by 2 at the end, Why does and become and respectively, as if the equation was divided by 4 instead? Eugenio0027 (talk) 02:41, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

exactly it's not making sense. Also are we adding equations or enthalpy changes? 102.211.145.199 (talk) 05:52, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
