I propose to merge this page with Orthosilicate. The latter is currently devoted to silicate minerals, which would probably continue to be the bulk of the article -- but as a large section, not as the whole article. According to some technical papers, it seems that the SiO4−
4
ion exists stably also in solids like sodium orthosilicate Na
4
SiO
4
