I will be starting law school in the fall and I have been hearing people talk about one-l. What does one-l mean? I'm assuming that it is some hip lingo for a first-year law student. Am I right? FWIW I think the assertion that Harvard no longer uses the Socratic method is almost certainly an exaggeration. What is likely truer is that it is no longer the norm, but professors still select their own teaching styles including the Socratic method. Bobby Lawndale (talk) 13:29, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
