Comparisons
[edit]This is a good summary of the existing literature. I'm impressed by all the data tables and citations. However, from a factual standpoint, many of the lexical comparisons are dubious. Many are verbs that are evidently of onomatopoeic origin and are widespread areal forms found all over Southeast Asia. Lingnanhua (talk) 23:45, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
Alves 2019
[edit]Alves 2019 is a PowerPoint given at a conference. Based on the note Alves left on ResearchGate, it seems that there was a journal article published based on the presentation, but I don't feel like enough of an expert to weigh in.
