driving in reverse to turn back an odometer

[edit]

Contrary to what the article says, itis possible to run an odometer backwards by driving in reverse on some older cars. One example is my 1989 oldsmobile cutlass ciera sedan. i could post a video on youtube to attempt to prove it, but i would rather not, because it might give some people ideas(if there isn't a video like that on there already)Vandalism destroyer (talk) 01:12, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Does it not work on the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California? DanBishop (talk) 03:41, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
On some cars driving in reverse reverses the odometer, on some cars it moves the odometer forward, and on some it does nothing. --Sable232 (talk) 20:30, 1 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article barely longer than the section in Odometer

[edit]

Just saying. I've never called for an articles removal before, but when the article repeats a section of a medium sized article? I won't tag it, but it's something to bear in mind. 94.66.98.5 (talk) 15:21, 23 July 2015 (UTC) Jonathan Adrian TreloarReply
