On October 7, 2023, all 1200 deaths were not due to Hama or Palestinians. Israel issued the Hanibal directive ordering soldiers to fire on their own people. Only mentioning Hamas and resistance groups is not the whole story.

that is what i am going off of the linked article. Here is the BBC https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgqyj268ljo The 7 October attacks killed around 1,200 people, mostly Israeli civilians, and 251 were taken hostage. Description of suggested change:

The current wording describes the perpetrators of the 7 October 2023 invasion of Israel as “Hamas and other Palestinian armed/militant groups”. This wording is imprecise because Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and some of the other participating organizations are widely designated as terrorist organizations by multiple governments and international bodies. I suggest changing the wording to “Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations” or, alternatively, “Hamas-led Palestinian terrorist organizations”, which is more accurate and consistent with official designations.
