The southwestern peninsula seems to have left the island. The new name is Юрий Кучиев , the Ossetian arctic explorer that used a nuclear icebreaker (Arktika) to reach the north pole as the first surface vessel in the world. --Hardscarf (talk) 20:37, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
