[edit]I am the editor-in-chief of this journal. I have added factual, sourced information describing the journal’s scope, publication model, indexing, and metrics. The content is based on publicly available sources, and no promotional language is intended. I welcome review, modification, or removal of any material as deemed appropriate by independent editors. Current publication schedule
[edit]I kindly ask to introduce a key information. - Hi, I saw this, but the link in that reference is dead. Looking at the list of issues, I see 2 issues (numbered 1 and 2) for January 2026, which is in agreement with "semi-monthly", but not with "continuous". As you may be aware, here at WP we go by what the sources say, not by any info that editors may or may not have. Sp unless you have a better reference for "continuous", we have to stick with semi-monthly. --Randykitty (talk) 14:05, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi. Thank you for the careful review and for flagging the issue.
- You are correct that the journal continues to organize content into two numbered issues per month. However, this is independent of the publication workflow. Since 2026, the journal operates under Springer Nature’s Continuous Article Publishing (CAP) model, meaning that articles are published online with full bibliographic metadata (volume, year, article number, DOI, indexing) immediately upon completion of production, rather than waiting for issue closure.
- Under CAP, issues may still exist for organizational purposes, but they no longer determine the timing of online publication. This distinction is described in Springer Nature’s documentation on Continuous Article Publishing (https://support.springernature.com/en/support/solutions/articles/6000146492-page-numbers-in-a-continuous-article-publishing-cap-journal), which explains that CAP replaces page numbering and issue-based publication delays while allowing journals to retain issue structures if desired.
- I agree that Wikipedia should rely strictly on verifiable sources. I therefore kindly suggest to add a more explicit, working reference from Springer Nature that describes the CAP model in general terms. It would be helpful to adjust the wording to clarify that CAP refers to the publication model rather than the number of issues per month. A potential wording may be "The journal publishes two issues per month; since 2026, articles are released online under Springer Nature’s Continuous Article Publishing (CAP) workflow".
- Thank you again for your attention to accuracy, and I welcome any suggested wording that would better reflect this distinction. ~2026-22236-1 (talk) 14:14, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- That wording could work, but we still need a source that says that this journal follows the CAP model. It's a very minor thing, of course, by now it's more remarkable if a journal does not do this... --Randykitty (talk) 14:25, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you. We announced this transition on the Journal LinkedIn page here https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7386815836335857664.
- If a source should be linked to the Springer Journal website, I can ask to add a Journal update with the details of the CAP model. If the LinkedIn link is enough, that's great. Thank you for your careful supervision. ~2026-22236-1 (talk) 14:39, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

- A link on the journal's own webpage would be perfect (not necessarily the home page, any page would do). WP:LINKEDIN is not considered a reliable source as the content s not vetted but user-contributed. --Randykitty (talk) 16:13, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi. You can use this link for CAP. https://link.springer.com/journal/11071/updates/27839496

Cassyni
[edit]The online seminar platform is not operated by Springer Nature but by Cassyni https://cassyni.com/s/nonlinear-dynamics. This should be fixed. Wlacarbonara (talk) 17:36, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Done That sentence actually came from the last version of the article edited by you. Anyway, it's been corrected. --Randykitty (talk) 14:26, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

- Randykitty thank you. You are very efficient and precise. I would love if you could review my biography here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Lacarbonara. It would be much appreciated. ~2026-22236-1 (talk) 14:47, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind words. I used to edit a lot of academic bios but nowadays I use most of my editing time on academic journals. You could try the "academics" section of the Biography Wikiproject and ask the people there if somebody is interested. --Randykitty (talk) 16:16, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
