Mentions of the term enbian and diamoric?

Enbian and diamoric are both terms used by nonbinary people to refer to their attraction (Enbian for nonbinary people attracted to other nonbinary people, and diamoric to refer to the lack of 'same-gender' or 'opposite-gender' attraction due to being nonbinary. The terms are notable enough to already be within an article (linked), but aren't mentioned here; perhaps we could add them? If so, in which section? I considered the Identities section, but that primarily refers to different nonbinary gender identities, so probably Terms and definitions? Also, after taking a look at the way diamoric is defined in that article, it seems to use the broader definition; not to say we should change or remove it, but are there any usable sources supporting the definition I mentioned above? @Kitokat, pinging you since this post is old. You would need to find sources to support using a different definition either here or at LGBTQ slang. The LGBTQ slang definition is supported by three citations, so you would also need to find enough sourcing to show that your definition is reasonably common and well-documented relative to the current definition. If you want to discuss the definitions used there, the best place to do that would be a post at Talk:LGBTQ slang. For now, I have copied the current definitions into Non-binary § Terms and definitions. It seems appropriate to cover this, based on ample sourcing and obvious relevance to the topic. Added sub genders needed

I am aware that there are oodles of subtypes, however, as a demiboyfluix myself, I find my gender not on this article, or any wikipedia article. Though it's true this isn't specifically a gender wiki, it's important that some of the lesser recognized genders be represented. The entries listed under Non-binary#Identities are restricted to those that are most common/most prominent in high quality reliable sources. Demiflux is defined under Non-binary#Demigender. We generally avoid adding less common terms as they are beyond the scope and purpose of a general audience encyclopedia. If there is good sourcing, this could be considered. We also must balance inclusion of each sub-gender or identity against other terms that may or may not be included and the relative prominence within the wider Non-binary topic. —Myceteae‍🍄‍🟫 (talk) 19:36, 1 July 2026 (UTC)

If you are looking for dictionaries or other high quality sources that might satisfy Wikipedia's standards of reliability, in order to include more terms in this article, I do not know any specific resources of the top of my head. I suspect that genders like demiboyfluix are just not that well documented in the kind of sources we typically rely on.
