I don't know how to do this, and I'm not even logged in, but I have a couple of things to offer.

1st is that I believe Noel Sims is significant enough a figure to warrant inclusion in Wikipedia as a seminal figure in Jamaican Music from pre-independence Boogie Woogie and the first homegrown R&B, through Ska, Rocksteady & Reggae. Although I've read his name in multiple articles and other sources related to the development of Reggae Music, I know he has multiple inclusions in David Katz' [Solid Foundation: An Oral History of Reggae] 2003, Bloomsbury, New York, pp.1, 14, 15, 16, 17, 25, 34, 80, & 321. (Sorry I don't recall how to do bibliographical citations anymore.) I believe he also has extended mention in the Rough Guide to Reggae, but I don't have a copy anymore.

The 2nd thing I want to mention is that I believe his name here is misspelled. Katz spells it "Sims" and his research is pretty thorough.

3rd, while he may have been a drummer (I don't know) he was most certainly a singer, both leading his own groups and performing with others (such as Winston Jarrett's Flames) (see Katz).

4th, in addition to the groups he has been cited as recording/performing with, he also recorded extensively (and first) with Arthur "Bunny" Robinson starting in 1953, initially under the name "Sims and Robinson" then as "Bunny and Skully." (Katz, 14 & 15)
