This talk page originally redirected to Talk:NiNa. The older discussion concerning the creation of the Nina disambiguation page may be found there. Ayla 13:51, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nina is a name that means grace and another name for nina in Ann. This name is very common on Europe.

New disambiguation page

[edit]

I moved the contents of this page to Nina (given name), since most of the links pertain to the given name. Per MOS:DAB, this page should be given the given name template, once a separate disambiguation page is created with the other links, in order to clean up the difference. ...and I have moved it back. While your interpretation of the guideline is essentially correct, the article should not be moved as-is, but split (with the name-related entries moved to "Nina (name)" and everything else left here as a disambig). Besides, there is no need to move a page to "same title"+"disambiguator" if the "title" is going to stay a redirect anywaythat's just redundant! No one said that the original title was "going to stay a redirect". As I stated above, I planned on changing Nina to a separate disambiguation page with the other links, in order to clean up the difference, but I suppose it would have been more constructive for someone to just split the page as you describe above. I actually suspected that you had further plans, but since the redirect remained in place for about two hours, I started to have my doubts :) Anyway, if you could proceed with the split, that'd be great. Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky)  (yo?); 20:56, July 21, 2009 (UTC)

Cleanup

[edit]

I removed the {{disambig-cleanup}} tag - hope that's OK. 58.8.9.23 (talk) 08:47, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for cleaning up the article, I know that the split was a little messy. It looks much better now! Fortdj33 (talk) 12:19, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
