Dubious

[edit]

I'm dubious. There are no Google Books or Scholar hits for Nggàm and the original author was indefinitely blocked for disruption. Sergeant Cribb (talk) 11:08, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

The external link is published by a university, though.... DS (talk) 00:35, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Definitely exists. Loads of results for "crab divination". Zanahary (talk) 03:21, 19 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello. Spider divination exists. The issue is whether it is best labelled nggam with a grave accent or not. I propose loosing the accent. No one has argued for retaining it. Should I just go ahead and make the move? many thanks david Dz3 (talk) 12:40, 28 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Go for it! Zanahary 12:59, 28 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Propose name change to remove accent

[edit]

I think this should be called Nggam not Nggàm. The error stems from applying the low tone accent from dù to the preceding nggam. But according to the Perrin & Mouh Mambila dictionary nggam (divination) is unmarked unlike nggàm (because).
