History section

I found it difficult to follow the history section. A paragraph about events in 2013 falls in this section after comments about events in 2020. There are several examples of bad chronology. Move to AN/ALQ-249 Next Generation Jammer

Now that we have cited sources declaring the NGJ is designated as AN/ALQ-249, should we move the title to AN/ALQ-249 Next Generation Jammer in keeping with the naming of other US Military electronic devices? — TadgStirkland⁴⁰¹(Tadg^Talk-Email) 02:52, 24 August 2025 (UTC)

I may have spoken to soon. Upon further research, it looks like the AN/ALQ-249 nomenclature may only apply to the NGJ-MB. There’re plans underway for low-band (NGJ-LB) and high-band (NGJ-HB) systems with potentially different ALQ designations.
