[edit]NetMind was a significant internet pioneer in the late 1990s, pioneering web page change detection and notification algorithms and real-world services many years before other companies such as Google, developed their own alert systems. It's not clear why this sentence ― ie about change detection and notification functionality being linked to TCP/IP port 2412, and this assignment being officially recognised by IANA — was put in the article.
