Name meaning

[edit]

As far as i know the name Neit means God of War,to say he was a god of war may not be the best way to phrase the opening paragraph--Sleeveman (talk) 10:09, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

The name Neit does not mean "God of War", as it does not contain any element meaning "god". It's the personal name of a deity, and as the article says, it probably derives from a word meaning "fighting" or "passion". --Nicknack009 (talk) 10:38, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

In the same way Morrigan can be rendered Great king warrior, but i believe Neit as a name referred to a supreme warlord.--Sleeveman (talk) 13:09, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
