Change

In the Merchandise section, add a note that Guinness World Records recognizes that the largest collection of Naruto Memorabilia is currently held by Anthony Greco of the United States with a collection totaling 7,719 items.

This would be suggested to go below "Merchandise" but above "Video Games" similar to how "Further information: List of Naruto media" is below "Media" but above "Manga". The Real Pink Diamond (talk) 05:05, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Not done This is trivial info and has nothing to do with the franchise. 1989 (talk) 23:24, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Add Burmese language

[edit]

Burmese (my) is missing from the infobox.

Naruto (ナルト) is written in Burmese as: နာရူတို

Please add: | my = နာရူတို

This follows ISO 639-1 (my = Burmese) and Burmese anime subtitle conventions. ~2026-20001-1 (talk) 13:20, 10 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

1. Maybe we should perhaps include Naruto being one of the highest grossing franchises with over 20B in the article summary, Perhaps before the manga sales?

2.I think there should be cultural legacy section. Including the google easter egg (which is as far as I know a first for anime/manga to have a global easter egg from google), Manga and musicians/directors influences among other things. ~2026-26549-19 (talk) 20:44, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Day Creature (talk) 22:42, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
How is it not clear? Is there something confusing in what i said?
"Change X to Y" I'm not proposing any changes to the actual article as in removing/editing sentences that already exist. I'm talking about new additions. ~2026-26549-19 (talk) 13:28, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
If you want something to be added, please provide the exact text of your proposed addition. Day Creature (talk) 17:21, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

FA?

[edit]

I am somewhat surprised this got FA with a CCG section but no mention of the board games (I've added a barebones section, it may merit expansion; on the side note, the CCG and board games should likely be mentioned in the List of Naruto media...). The CCG claim that the Japanese version was launched at 2003 does not seem to be verified using the ref cited. I added some themes as you suggested. I doubt I can maintain a FA with my skills though. Tintor2 (talk) 18:42, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tintor2 Thanks. It's not bad enough I feel it needs a reassessment. Interested editors may want to use my SFE writeup on https://sf-encyclopedia.com/entry/naruto , it may have some useful content (less reception, more analysis) if you/they haven't done so yet. I honestly have no idea how that url works Tintor2 (talk) 23:43, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tintor2 Ummm, it doesn't open for you? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 23:46, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
No like what is this content? Can it be used to cite new information or how would be the appropiated citation for such work. Tintor2 (talk) 23:54, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tintor2 What I linked is the show's entry in The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction, a very reliable resource. I think it contains content useful for the theme sections (from the SF perspective), and likely a bit for the reception too. See for example how the source is used here. If you want, I can add it myself in a little while. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 00:41, 6 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tintor2 @Xexerss Thank you. Two minor thoughts. 1) Is there a reason why this source wasn't attributed to the author (here, me) by name like with other sources cited in the articke, and just to the publisher? I'd assume this is due to SFE somewhat arcane system that hides the name of the author in the main text (not unlike on Wikipedia). You can see that each SFE article is signed on the bottom by initials (here, [PKo]) and if you click on "About this entry", the initial is decyphered into proper bio of the author . Given the slight COI issue, I am not changing this in the article (least someone calls me out on vanity or such), but I do want to note it is a bit jarring when we have several paragraphs referring to scholars/critics then the last one just refers to the publication. 2) The last paragraph ("Notwithstanding some imperfections, the world-building is ambitious, the action choreography inventive, and the long-form payoff of its many foreshadowed revelations...") may be worth summarizing or quoting in the "Critical reception" section, perhaps? birthday

[edit]

i went through this page and thought it would be beneficial if we could include the character's birthday to provide more insight into the character. i feel that if any new user encountered the page without prior knowledge of the show, it would be informative. Staticspector (talk) 21:55, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I don't see where in the article it would be relevant to mention the character's birthday; that would just be WP:TRIVIA, and I think it would be even less relevant for someone with no prior knowledge of the series to know this. Xexerss (talk) 22:52, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I agree that unless it is somehow relevant to the plot the date of broth for a fictional character would be of little relevance to the average reader.--~2026-36870-08 (talk) 05:15, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
