Ford Ivey put LARPing on the map in the USA. He is widely known for this and was and is often referred to as "the Grandfather of American LARP." His game is the one from whence the vast majority of American LARPs sprang forth. LARP was a new idea when he started NERO with his friends in 1988. He therefore meets the criteria to have a biographical page as a creative professional. Therefore his page should not redirect to NERO International which he has not been involved with since 1998. Ford did a great many things in his life, he served in the military and is buried in Arlington Cemetery, he created several other LARP games including The Isles, Osiris Sanction, and Wizard Wars, as well as working on the development of a combat system called Legacy Game Systems utilizing bluetooth technology to keep track of game effects and damage. Given that his accomplishments are wide and varied beyond his creation of NERO, which he tried to distance himself from in his later years, his biographical page should be reinstated. We convinced Ford to create his own Wiki to AVOID giving control of it to Joseph Allen Valenti and to show that he had a life that existed outside of NERO. If the option was to delete his page, that should have been done instead.It feels extremely disrespectful that you chose to take everything he did and diminish it down to only NERO.
