In Agriculture- mungeli is famous for gram(Cicer aritinum)varity 'Sundary'.

In Religious- Two famous temples are here first- Shakti mai mandir at mungeli-kawardha road.second at Kali maata mandir at kali mai ward mungeli near B.R.sao higher secondary school mungeli.

Mungeli was made district in January 2012 by Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh inaugurated new district. Kaushalindia (talk) 19:45, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
