Admin attention required
[edit]Ok, I think this page needs moving to "Moyamba, Sierra Leone" (better follows naming conventions) Problem is its already a redirect for Moyamba district. I could change the redirect but thought I should run it by an admin first. "Moyamba" which is refered to on the Moyamba district page redirects to Moyamba district. - Actually, this should be moved to Moyamba, per naming conventions. I tagged that redirect for speedy deletion to make way for the move. Once that page is deleted (give it a few minutes), you can move it. Or if I see it first, then I'll move it. Regards.--12 Noon 23:31, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Population estimate
[edit]Does anyone have accurate data on the population of Moyamba? Various editors have been changing the thousands figue but keeping the less-significant figures. Why? I suggest we keep just one significant figure in numerical data until we find some evidence for a more accurate estimate. (I must find my atlas for the distances!) The 2004 census included data for the Moyamba district. Does anyone know if there is a figure published for the town of Moyamba? dbfirs 07:42, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- (later) I've found 1985 data for Moyamba. The population was only 6483 then, so I begin to doubt the estimate given in the article. I will edit again. dbfirs 07:47, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
