3618' is the height of a benchmark north of and below the peak. The actual peak is roughly 30' higher. 69.226.217.0 (talk) 11:20, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mount Wallace?

I removed text that read:

According to 1868 survey notes from William F. Boardman, the North peak should be named after San Joaquin county surveyor John Wallace, brother of famed naturalist Alfred Russell Wallace, and the true location of Mount Wallace, the highest point in San Joaquin County.

There is a Mount Wallace with an elevation of 3112 feet ( NGVD 29) north of Mount Bordman at 37°32′22″N 121°33′04″W / 37.5393771°N 121.5510557°W / 37.5393771; -121.5510557. This is not the North Boardman referred to in the article. Including the quoted information is just too confusing. It's true that John Wallace was the San Joaquin County surveyor 1868.
