The Universal Studios morals clause of 1921 appears to be the start of such contract language for movie actors. I also came across a 2007 auction of the original, signed addendum for Babe Ruth's 1922 contract. As best I know, this is the first example of a morals clause being written into an U.S. athlete's contract.David notMD (talk) 15:44, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
