That section lists all noteworthy manga that have been serialized in the magazine, not just current titles, hence why Amatsuki and Karneval are on the list despite having ended years ago. Link20XX (talk) 05:27, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

Is there a specific reason why Comic Zero Sum is categorized as Josei rather than Shoujo or Shoujo/Josei?

Hello, I just wanted to see if anyone could clarify this. So when looking at the actual Comic Zero Sum magazine, the manga chapters will use Furigana frequently as a reading aid within the manga chapters. Typically this is done in magazines aimed at a younger audience rather than those aimed at an older audience (eg Feel Young magazine does not do this). This led me to question the Josei categorization of Comic Zero Sum instead of Shoujo or Shoujo/Josei.

Additionally, these are the characters used in the supporting citations that describe the magazine's demographic (comic natalie article interviewing the current editor-in-chief and an older comic natalie article doing a round-table interview with the founding members of the magazine):

So, it is definitely clear the magazine is aimed at a female audience based on the cited sources, but when using google translate, the sources seem to intermittently use both "Girls", "Women", and "Female Otaku" when referring to the magazine's readership, and the linked source that examines readership statistics placed the majority of the readership in the 10-24 range (61%) wile 39% of the readership is 25 and older.

With all this in mind, I was just wondering if someone could offer some clarity for why Josei is the written demographic for the magazine when it uses the Furigana reading aid and uses the above kanji to describe the readership of the magazine? I think it may be prudent to change the categorization to "shoujo/josei" instead at the very least, however I would love to hear other perspectives on this :) AlexBW0524 (talk) 21:52, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
