Shouldn't Particle physics be mentioned in the article as also being related? This comment section can be deleted if some physicist out there resolves this. 5Q5 15:18, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, the effects on the scale of elementary particle physics don't really play a role in molecular physics. You'd have to consider the internal structure of the nuclei to require those theories. 139.18.17.45 (talk) 16:20, 17 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
