The gang is said to have "specialized in “tipping the lion” — crushing the noses of people whom they met on the streets and gouging out their eyes" (2015, Mannix, The Hellfire Club, page 12): however, other sources suggest that tipping the lion was merely a harmless prank of pushing/squeezing somebody's nose and mouth to make them look like a lion. Article Edward_Montagu,_Viscount_Hinchingbrooke links to Mohocks, and claims he was a member. they dont' seem to have a reference, and I realize that is needed, but am mentioning it here, for future updates to this article, it's worth rechecking Edward_Montagu,_Viscount_Hinchingbrooke if they later do have a link there confirming his membership, that would be a "well born" person known by name, associated with the Mohocks, so if link added there, then worth naming him here, if and when that happens. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.8.12.166 (talk) 00:56, 12 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
