Didn't need that many, but at least I could read it, so thanks. This is long enough and new enough. QPQ done and Earwig is clean. I added a {{cn}} tag - possibly an artefact from where a paragraph was split? Please remedy.--Launchballer 12:00, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Launchballer: Hi, I've attached a reference in place of the [citation needed] tag you've put in the article. Much thanks for noticing the details! Regards, Jeromi Mikhael 13:45, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
The grammar in your first hook is tricky to follow. How about ALT0a: "...that Indonesian military leader Moergito banned the production of machetes in East Java shortly after the government had ordered twenty thousand of them?" Or ALT1: "... that Indonesian military leader Moergito banned machetes and tattoos?" DS (talk) 18:43, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@DragonflySixtyseven: Much apologies, I'm not that good in grammar since English is not my first language. Personally I think ALT0a is much more concise compared to ALT1 which I feel is more generic and won't be too interesting for DYK. Thank you Regards, Jeromi Mikhael 00:37, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
It's fine — your English is much better than my Bahasa. (I'm guessing Bahasa, anyway) DS (talk) 01:10, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@DragonflySixtyseven: Referring Indonesian as Bahasa is equivalent to referring English as "Language". "Do you speak Language? No, I don't speak Language. I only speak Bahasa." It doesn't make sense to native speakers :) Regards, Jeromi Mikhael 05:04, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine with ALT0a.--Launchballer 18:38, 3 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
