Seems like the WWII info on this railway has been whitewashed, perhaps by PR folks. Some of the history here should at least be included with this article: http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/MITROPA-AG-Company-History.html 99.180.87.32 (talk) 05:46, 1 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mitropa != Mitteleuropa

According to the article in the German Wikipedia, the name "Mitropa" is not a short form of "Mitteleuropa", but rather an acronym of "MITteleuROPäische Schlaf- und Speisewagen Aktiengesellschaft", which means "Central European Sleeper Car and Dining Car Aktiengesellschaft".
