This article is deficient and inaccurate. It confuses canon law and liturgical law, and moreover current and former law in both areas. The 'parochial Mass' does not exist in current law (liturgical or canon law) and was completely different from the obligation of the parish priest to apply a Mass for the intentions of his parish(es) governed by c. 534, this is a personal obligation of the parish priest (unless legitimately impeded).  Preceding unsigned comment added by Francescopossenti (talkcontribs) 11:44, 13 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
