  • I cannot believe this is how I find out that she is gone. I loved her videos of Finnegan. Thank you for this article, Soulbust. It is sufficiently long and new and well-sourced. I see no neutrality or copyright concerns. I commend you for including criticism too. I love ALT1, but the original hook is hilarious. I would drop "two" from the original hook. A free image (perhaps obtained by asking relatives or colleagues) would really help, especially with ALT2. Let me know if you manage to get one. Otherwise, this is good to go! Manner of death confirmed, but waiting for better source

[edit]

TMZ has this (precaution: it's rather a gruesome description) article on her manner of death from the local medical office, which affirms it was by suicide. However, I am hesitant to use TMZ as source for this, and so far its only other semi-RSes reiterating the TMZ report. Masem (t) 12:20, 15 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

I had seen the TMZ report while working on the article yesterday. I agree with refraining from using that as a source for something like this, and as such, didn't add it.
Since your post, People has now reported on this, so I will go ahead and add that to the article now. Soulbust (talk) 03:11, 16 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Picture

[edit]

Can i use the picture for the german wikipedia? Aemijork (talk) 20:03, 12 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

It is a non free image and I believe de.wiki does not allow any non free at all. You'd have to verify the rules there. Masem (t) 20:42, 12 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

'lesbian goth foxes'

[edit]

@Soulburst a DYK hook has no bearing on if the content should be included or not, and the only reason this information was ever included was for a clickbait DYK hook. A fox cannot be 'lesbian' nor 'goth' and we can do better than to not repeat clickbait quoting random online comments. Traumnovelle (talk) 06:21, 13 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

The use of the term "lesbian goth foxes" is to explain why those videos went viral, which is described in reliable sources. It is not an attempt to actually qualify the two female foxes factually as "lesbian" or "goth", but simply how that name caught on to make the videos go viral. Masem (t) 12:09, 13 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yet the CBS news source neglects to mention that? Nor does the MPR source support the assertion that 'the name caught on to make the videos viral'. Traumnovelle (talk) 20:26, 13 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
