The passage about the fingers of the crocodile god/man sounds very much like personal incredulity and opinion of the speaker, arguing that the later gold pieces suggest that the metates are later than previously thought and using words like "Perhaps.. "and "Seems strange that..." The pieces as illustrated in op cit pg 76 are surely icons of a physiological state rather than an accurate representation of a real croc-god-man which reason rejects as imaginary)

and  I propose the removal of the paragraph ~2025-37252-34 (talk) 19:02, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
