I read:

Are not most of these people Israeli Jews? Therefore, they would be speaking, and thus labelling themselves, in Hebrew, not in English, and the article text would presumably be correct. 76.20.114.184 (talk) 19:15, 14 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
No. Most "Messianics" are Americans. The "Messianic Jewish" movement grew out of American evangelical Protestantism, primarily the Baptists. There are indeed some actual Jews-by-birth in the flock, but some observers have estimated Gentiles to be around 75% of most Messianic congregations. They speak English. Aren't Messianic Jews just Jews who believe in Jesus?
I went looking for the source, but couldn't find the one that cited 75%. I read it a while back. But I did find this one from "My Jewish Learning": "Messianic Judaism is often presented as an ethnic church for Jews – somewhat like a Korean or Chinese church, but with outreach specific to Jews. However, most experts estimate that in most Messianic Jewish congregations only about half the members were born Jews." It doesn't specify who the "experts" are. Just to be clear, I also agree that Messianic Jews or Jews for Jesus are really Christians, not Jews, generally. But some are also ethnically Jewish, but most aren't. This new organization was developed to give a very simple explanation of what Messianic Judaism is. Also to connect people to long existing organizations, many are already listed on Wikipedia thankfully. The website does not ask for money or donations. It's sole purpose is to help educate in a simple way and connect people to existing resources. That's on contacts page. I don't know how to add anything to a Wikipedia page and have no tech or staff that knows how. Is there a tutorial how to use Wikipedia editing or adding? Jews who have accepted Yeshua/Jesus are Messianic Jews. Most end up in a variety of Church denominations. There are very few Messianic Congregations. One city has 600 churches and 4 Messianic Congregations. Inside of these congregations Mabey 5% are actually born Jewish. So you see we are a very tiny minority inside a minority inside another minority of Jews. The distinction Messianic Jew vs Christian is more to reach other Jews. The word Christian has a not always positive relation to Jews. About half the churches from experience are anti Jew and anti Israel now. Put yourself in our shoes. Your a Jew, strike one, most are anti Jew today. Your a Jew who believes Jesus is the Messiah , strike 2, your family and community turn in you. You go to different churches and denominations and are shunned and disliked. You find a messianic congregation, if your lucky, and most are not even Jewish who attend.
