Sniper cannon?- I played the game a lot, but i never saw a sniper cannon, a "sniper" weapon aught to be long range and not medium, and its name is very unlike battletech as descirbes a tactical concept (snipe warfare) rather then a technological concept (i.e Particle Projection cannon) general description (i.e long range missle) or code name(i.e thunderbolt, long tom).

There is a Sniper Cannon weapon in Desperate Measures expansion, it is available for IS only and is, essentially, a medium-range Long Tom. It is considered canon as it has been featured in tabletop Battletech games already. Erratic Communist 13:12, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

The Sniper Cannon is an artillery cannon found in the, lol, canon of Battletech. It's accessible in game only through the Desperate Measures expansion, and requires the cheat: hereitcomes. (I think, it's been a while since I've played this game.) Also, is that Erratic Communist of the infamous ERRATIC FEATHERED CACTUS clan? --Acetyl (talk) 02:46, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
