[f,x0,x1, ... ,xn]<0<[f,y0,y1, ... ,yn] 

then there is z_i in [min{x_k,y_k,max{x_k,y_k] for i=1,2,...,n such that

[f,z₀,z₁, ... ,z_n]=0
