Thank you, I am still navigating how to do things on Wikipedia. I was also wondering about the 3rd and 4th citation because I thought there is a rule about primary sources for biographies. I remember there being a whole thing about some celebrity having to ask a reporter for an interview just to have a secondary source for her birthday. Gnnew (talk) 02:51, 25 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
You can generally use primary sources for uncontroversial statements about a person. In this case, I think it's reasonable to use the CV and or faculty listing of the university to establish basic facts. (WP:PRIMARYCARE) Now this wouldn't count towards WP:GNG but that's a separate issue. I hope that clarifies things. -- BriefEdits (talk) 17:08, 25 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
