Electronics

This segment has multiple problems:

"Mattel debuted its electronics line in 1977 with an electronic handheld game. Its success led to its expansion with game consoles, and then the line was eventually incorporated in 1982. Mattel Electronics caused Mattel to take a $394 million loss the following year and almost file for bankruptcy."

Clarification is needed about the meaning of "the line was eventually incorporated in 1982". We also need an explanation of why the electronics line caused massive financial losses, as the previous sentences give the impression that Mattel's electronics were successful.
