Re: "Masands can be Sindhis or Punjabi Jats depending on the place where their ancestors lived. They mainly reside in Northern India in the present day." I would suggest changing "can" to "could" since the Masand system was abolished by Guru Gobind Singh ji. So the present day Masands are only surnames and not connected to the Masands of Sikh history.
